SEATTLE — Parametrix has acquired Taylor Engineering, giving it offices in Spokane, Pullman and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Terms were not released.
Seattle-based Parametrix has nearly 350 employees who provide transportation, environmental planning, water and community building services.
Spokane-based Taylor was founded in 1985, and has nearly 40 employees specializing in civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture and land planning.
Parametrix said the acquisition means more staff and new services for Taylor's clients, especially in highways, structures and environmental work. Taylor brings expertise in education facilities, land development and airports.
Taylor will be rebranded as part of Parametrix's Intermountain operations, managed by Doug Camenisch of Parametrix.
