A free program on Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. will explore the past and future of Town Hall at 1119 Eighth Ave. in Seattle.

Town Hall is presenting this look at how the former Seattle Fourth Church of Christian Science was “uniquely suited to transform from an expression of 20th century religious community into a 21st century home for civic, intellectual and cultural life.” The event will also focus on the renovation, which is slated to start this year.

Panelist are Town Hall founder David Brewster, Larry Kreisman of Historic Seattle, Clint Pehrson of the Town Hall board of directors, and Matt Aalfs, design principal and project manager for the renovation.

Weinstein A + U is designing the renovation. Point32 is the owner’s rep and Rafn Co. is the general contractor.

Building tours will be first-come first-served. Register at http://tiny.cc/0orwhy/.
