AIA Seattle will offer a tour of Angle Lake light rail station in SeaTac from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 22.
The Women in Design Committee of AIA Seattle organized the tour, which will be led by VIA Architecture, the station's architect.
Angle Lake station is south of SeaTac Airport station. It is designed to be the state's first LEED-certified light rail station, with on-site energy generation and rainwater capture for irrigation.
The tour will look at sustainability, building systems, safety and security, delivery methods and how the station has affected other development.
