1959 Spud Fish & Chips building not a landmark

The Green Lake building was designed in the flamboyant “Googie” style, which influenced post-war fast-food eateries, motels and gas stations.

Seattle's Landmarks Preservation Board on Wednesday declined to designate the Spud Fish & Chips building at 6860 E. Green Lake Way N. as a city landmark.
