Pacific Fishing sold to Seattle publisher

SEATTLE -- Seattle-based Newman Burrows Publishing has purchased Pacific Fishing magazine, a North American fishing industry journal with 6,700 subscribers. FIS Holdings, an international group that has owned the magazine since 2000, is divesting itself from its North American businesses.

Newman Burrows Publishing also produces Marine Digest, Cargo Business News and regional port handbooks around the country. Its sister company, Newman Burrows/Northwest Publishing Center, provides commercial printing, copying and publishing services.
