Todd Shipyards names new leader
SEATTLE (AP) -- Todd Pacific Shipyards Corp. on Wednesday named Thomas V. Van Dawark as its president and chief operating officer.
Van Dawark, former president and chief executive of Marine Resources and Foss Maritime Co., replaces Rollie Webb, who recently resigned his position after 10 years with the marine repair and maintenance company.
Van Dawark is credited with helping expand Foss in the Pacific Northwest and is expected to help develop new business for Todd, said Stephen Welch, Todd chairman and chief executive.
Todd Pacific Shipyards is a wholly owned subsidiary of Todd Shipyards Corp. The marine repair and maintenance company works on commercial and federal government vessels. Todd has operated a shipyard in Seattle since 1916.
