WeyCo closing mill in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Weyerhaeuser Co. announced Wednesday it will permanently close its Mountain Pine veneer and plywood mill, eliminating 340 jobs in the rural Arkansas town.

The immediate closure comes after two temporary weeklong shutdowns in September and October at the plant, located in Garland County.
