Missouri president picked to lead WSU

SPOKANE (AP) — University of Missouri President Elson S. Floyd has been chosen as the next president of Washington State University, a WSU official who requested anonymity said Wednesday.

Floyd, 50, will succeed V. Lane Rawlins after Rawlins retires on June 1, the official who is familiar with the search process told The Associated Press.
