BELLINGHAM — Bellingham International Airport will spend 2007 trying to catch up to the growth in airline traffic that has already occurred, while planning for growth to come.
The commercial flights out of Bellingham on Horizon Airlines, Allegiant Air and Delta Connection have a capacity of roughly 16,000 departing passengers per month, and 14,000 of those seats have been full, said Art Choat, Port of Bellingham aviation director. That's more than 87 percent.
