King County to test insurance plan that rewards not driving

Yesterday, King County announced it will start a five-year pilot program that will let drivers pay less for car insurance if they drive less.

The concept is called pay-as-you-drive insurance, and is being tested partly through a $1.9 million grant from the Federal Highways Administration.
