SPU appoints new chief engineer

SEATTLE — Seattle Public Utilities has named Linda De Boldt as chief engineer for its engineering services branch.

De Boldt will manage a billion-dollar capital improvement program for engineering services, which is responsible for the city's drainage, wastewater and drinking water systems.
