PASCO — Ana Ochoa remembers when her parents owned the only Hispanic clothing store in town, opened with money they saved working in the cherry orchards.
More than two decades later, that small shop has grown to several stores and employs Ana and four of her five siblings. Salsa music trumpets overhead, and beaded gowns in magenta, coral and cornflower blue satin line the walls of her bridal shop. Upstairs, her daughter darts through racks of white confirmation dresses for little girls.
