New alliance's goal: Help region grow responsibly

    By 2040, the Puget Sound region is projected to have another 1.7 million people. That's the size of the entire metro population of Portland.

    Yesterday, a group of organizations launched the Quality Growth Alliance to figure out how to plan for that growth in a more responsible way.
