Today's economic picture is bleak. But experts from Washington State University say when the recession ends, there will be huge opportunities for people who know how to innovate and think differently.
Egils Milbergs, executive director of the Washington State Economic Development Commission, was Gov. Chris Gregoire's liaison with the Obama transition team. He spoke at a WSU Innovators luncheon in Bellevue yesterday, along with John Gardner, WSU vice president for economic development and extension, and John Nofsinger, a WSU finance professor.
