Port eyes incentives for Iceland airline

SEATTLE — The Port of Seattle wants to make improvements at Sea-Tac Airport for Icelandair, which is planning to begin Seattle service this July. The port would also provide the airline temporary fee waivers for the first year and a marketing program, for a total cost of $735,000.

At its next meeting, the Seattle Port Commission will also discuss a cleanup plan and a habitat restoration plan for the lower Duwamish River, a Superfund site.
