Ore. firm to make Arizona streetcars

PORTLAND (AP) — Oregon Iron Works Inc. has won a $26 million contract to build seven streetcars for the city of Tucson, Ariz.

Under the deal, the city of Tucson can opt to buy as many as seven additional cars from United Streetcar LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary.
