TUMWATER — The Governor's Industrial Safety and Health Advisory Board is accepting nominations until tomorrow for the governor's annual lifesaving awards.
To be eligible for the award, nominees must have performed hands-on aid in saving a life between July 1, 2008, and tomorrow. All Washington workers covered by the workers' compensation system or a self-insured employer are eligible. The lifesaving act can take place anywhere in the world.
