Ocean Shores may combine police, fire
OCEAN SHORES, Grays Harbor County (AP) — Ocean Shores Fire Chief Jim Hodges has been placed on leave with pay as the city investigates the process of combining the administration of the police and fire departments.
Mayor Dean Bunkers says he's recommending the city council eliminate the fire chief position at the end of the year to save money.
