Portland blind maker plans to close plant
PORTLAND (AP) — A Portland company that makes window coverings has notified state officials that it plans to close its plant by year's end, leaving 98 employees without jobs.
The Oregonian reports that Fashion Tech Inc. says its Portland plant will close by Dec. 31.
