ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — The amount of cargo passing through Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is down 25 percent.
KTUU-TV says airport manager John Parrott describes the decrease as significant. But he finds it not particularly troubling. He says that's because the majority of cargo planes stopping in Anchorage aren't unloading but merely refueling.
