SEATTLE — The Washington State Department of Transportation is preparing an environmental assessment to evaluate the effects of tolling Interstate 90 between Interstate 5 in Seattle and Interstate 405 in Bellevue.
A WSDOT press release says tolls are being considered to help fund replacement of the state Route 520 floating bridge. It says tolling on I-90 would alleviate congestion on that freeway.
