BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Fruitland bar owner convicted of income tax evasion and illegal gambling will spend 46 months in prison and must give up a small hotel he built in Mexico.
U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill sentenced 67-year-old Thomas Dale Overstreet in December after he'd earlier pleaded guilty to the tax, gambling and money-laundering charges following an Internal Revenue Service sting.
