enterpriseSeattle goes back to EDC

SEATTLE — King County Executive Dow Constantine said enterpriseSeattle will return to its former name — the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County — because it better reflects the role of the organization and eliminates “brand confusion.”

The EDC changed its name in 2005. Incoming Board Chair David Allen of McKinstry said the group has found the name was “an unforeseen source of confusion as to what we do and whom we serve.”
