$100K UW grant to help injured workers

TUMWATER — The state Department of Labor & Industries awarded the University of Washington a $100,000 grant to help get injured health-care workers at Harborview Medical Center back on the job.

The UW will develop and test a training program for supervisors at Harborview that will help injured workers return to work sooner, reducing costs and productivity losses.
