BEND, Ore. (AP) — A former Bend loan officer who faked loan applications has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and bank fraud and conspiracy to make false statements to a financial institution.
The Bulletin of Bend (http://bit.ly/16qyfWX ) reports that 50-year-old Jeffrey Sprague was a loan officer at West Coast Bank when he falsified applications for Desert Sun Development employees and other people. The bank lost more than $2.6 million.
