SEATTLE — Laird Norton Co. of Seattle said it will acquire majority ownership of Fusion Education Group, a private company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that provides one student-one teacher classrooms at 20 locations in California, New York and New Jersey, with plans to expand into Texas this fall.
Peter Ruppert, Fusion Education Group CEO, said each campus has a recording studio and a full mixed-media art studio. The middle and high school programs are customized for each student, and can be completed during the day or evening hours.
