Amazon opening 5th center in Calif.

SEATTLE — Amazon.com said it plans to open a distribution center in Redlands, California, its fifth in the state.

Amazon opened its first distribution center in California less than two years ago, and the online retailer now occupies more than 5 million square feet in four centers in San Bernardino, Moreno Valley, Patterson and Tracy.
