SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo says it is ending its on-site elephant program and will find a new home for its two endangered Asian elephants.
Zoo president and CEO Deborah Jensen said Wednesday that they haven't identified a new facility for 47-year-old Bamboo and 35-year-old Chai but expect to relocate the two female elephants together in 2015.
