SALEM, Ore. (AP) — The state has filed a countersuit against the family of a Portland boy who fell 60 feet in Silver Park Falls State Park.
The Statesman Journal reports (http://stjr.nl/1HR0Vtb) 10-year-old Wilson Pelot fell in January 2014 after leaning against a broken railing on a trail near Lower South Falls. He fractured his wrist and spine and punctured his lung, among several other injuries.
