Weekday market to open in Fairbanks

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) — A market in downtown Fairbanks will be open weekdays this summer, expanding a long-standing event.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports (http://bit.ly/1HNYibj ) that the new market, called Market Festival Fairbanks, will replace the Downtown Market. That event has been held on Monday evenings in the plaza for four years.
