Seattle employer hit with $448K L&I fine

TUMWATER — A marine terminal operator in Seattle is facing a $448,200 fine from the state Department of Labor & Industries for failing to correct serious worker health hazards for which it was previously cited.

L&I said the fine is one of the largest in recent years.
