Innovation campus in Sedro-Woolley moves forward after deal with state

    An agreement between the state and the Port of Skagit paves the way for developing an innovation and research campus on the former Northern State Hospital property in Sedro-Woolley.

    The port and Janicki Bioenergy of Sedro-Woolley plan to develop the campus on 37 acres of the hospital property that Janicki now subleases from the port, according to port spokesman Andrew Entrikin.
