SEATTLE -- Sound Transit is seeking statements of qualifications from firms interested in providing construction services for Link Light Rail construction in the Rainier Valley.
Estimated to cost between $110 million to $130 million, the project involves the construction of part of the Rainier Valley light rail facilities and coordination with other contractors.
Work also includes modifications to the Martin Luther King Junior Way roadway, storm and sanitary sewers, utility modifications, and construction of a new trunk sewer. The contract also requires staff dedicated to community relations.
Statements of Qualifications should be submitted on or before Feb. 14.
