Those interested in helping low-income disabled homeowners can do so on Saturday during 10th Annual Rampathon of the Remodelers Council of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties.
The 2003 Rampathon will add wheelchair access ramps to 21 area homes.
The Master Builders Care Foundation (MCBF) coordinates more than 100 volunteers and businesses each year. Association members donate labor and materials, and members of the Remodelers Council or Carpenters Union serve as builder captains for each ramp crew. The 2002 event produced 12 ramps.
For more information, call Jay Schupack, MCBF executive director, at (425) 451-7920, Ext. 229, or email jschupack@mbaks.com.
