Stan Wakamoto’s small Maple Valley demolition business has worked on a variety of projects for Northwest contractors and government agencies.
Minority-owned businesses have no inside advantage when it comes to succeeding, said Stan Kawamoto, president of J. Harper Contractors Inc. in Maple Valley, “because it's still low bidding, job performance, safety records and on-time work that count.”
