BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Federal attorneys filed a lawsuit Tuesday accusing employees of a northern Idaho paving company of harassing two black crew members with a steady stream of racial slurs and jokes.
The complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Boise alleges that owners of the Coeur d'Alene Paving Inc., knew of the derogatory and abusive remarks yet did nothing to stop foremen and other employees from insulting the black workers.
