EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — After a corporate buyout, an Oregon factory that employed 56 workers was too small and underequipped, the world's largest manufacturer of plastic pipe said.
A statement from JM Eagle said shuttering the Glenwood plant “was a difficult but necessary decision. We firmly believe this is the best way to meet the needs of our customers, who will be more efficiently served by our larger and more technologically advanced plants.”
