PORT ORFORD, Ore. (AP) — The U.S. House approved spending $11.4 million for dredging at Oregon's seven south coast ports, and $1.25 million for a wave-power project in Reedsport.
The expenditures, which still need Senate approval, would provide dredging and maintenance at the ports of Bandon, Siuslaw, Umpqua, Brookings Harbor, Coos Bay, Gold Beach and Port Orford.
