Colorado tunnel reopening after $6M repair job

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A heavily traveled tunnel on eastbound Interstate 70 in western Colorado was expected to reopen today after a six-month shutdown to repair a crack.

The two-lane bore was closed in late March because of the 70-foot-long crack in the ceiling. The two-lane westbound bore has been used to handle traffic in both directions since then.
