Oregon's Measure 49 could reduce 43-lot project to 3 lots

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — A disputed 43-lot housing development in Marion County is on hold after developers began moving earth and leveling a roadway without government permits.

The project south of Salem began on Sept. 18, but stopped three days later after neighbors who have fought the development complained to the county.
