OLYMPIA (AP) — Washington state ferry officials are having a hard time finding enough dry dock space for eight vessels that need maintenance and repairs within the next three months, a legislative panel has been told.
Washington State Ferries is working with the Coast Guard on a plan that could result in extensions on some of the work, Paul H. Brodeur, director of vessel maintenance and preservation, told the Joint Transportation Committee last week.
