Oregon shelves plans for state office building

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Oregon legislators have shelved plans to tear down the Executive Building across from the Capitol and replace it with a larger building.

Legislators want to move the office space of the staffs of the governor, secretary of state and state treasurer, allowing more room for legislative offices to spread out in the Capitol.
