New tool helps compare our transportation costs

The middle class is fleeing King County in search of homes it can afford. In the last seven years, more than 27,000 middle-income families have left and 57,000 wealthier ones have taken their place, according to King County's 2007 growth report.

But those middle-class families may not be saving as much money as they think.
