START on deck for $67M rail contract

SEATTLE — Sound Transit is likely to award a $67 million construction management contract for University Link to Seattle Tunnel and Rail Team (START), a joint venture of CH2M-Hill and Jacobs Field Services N.A.

The $1.6 billion light-rail project involves building two 3.15-mile underground tunnels between downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill and the University of Washington. and two light-rail stations.
