Portland psychiatric hospital gets OK

PORTLAND (AP) — State officials have given the go-ahead for the development of a new $6.7 million psychiatric hospital in Portland.

The Oregon Department of Human Services granted a certificate of need Monday for Ascend Health Corporation to build a 36-bed psychiatric hospital in Portland where the Cedar Hills Hospital was previously located.
