Couple withdraws plan for Oregon subdivision

WINSTON, Ore. (AP) — A California couple withdrew plans for a 158-home subdivision in the southwest Oregon city of Winston.

At one of the most crowded City Council meetings in years, an attorney for Billy and Katherine Williams submitted a letter Tuesday that removed the Vineyard Estates subdivision application from consideration.
