Seattle-Tukwila rail may be under budget

Sound Transit predicts the 14-mile light rail line it is building between Seattle and Tukwila is going to be $150 million cheaper than expected.

“We are forecasting the project is going to be completed under budget,” light rail director Ahmad Fazel told the Sound Transit board last week.
