MONROE (AP) — Construction is set to begin by the end of the month near Monroe on what one farmer calls a giant cow's stomach.
The farmer, Dale Reiner, says the manure digester will work like a cow's stomach because it will produce methane gas. The gas will be burned to generate electricity.
