State plans year-long audit of Sound Transit

  • This second audit will look at long-term financial viability, contract handling, property management and public communication.

    The Washington State Auditor is planning its second performance audit of Sound Transit. The year-long audit would begin this summer.

    “Sound Transit has generated more citizen interest and concerns than any other government we audit,” spokesperson Mindy Chambers of the state auditor's office said yesterday.
