LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) — Northern Idaho municipalities that rely on chip sealing for road maintenance projects could face a sharp price increase, officials say.
Chip sealing has a component called liquid asphalt, which sold for about $350 per liquid ton in contracts written last year.
